What to expect in this course
This course is a previously-recorded Q&A group coaching webinar from 2021 on how to navigate life when teaching your family the difference between the gospel and the culture.
This course has been created from one of my most sought after topics: Culture or the Gospel? How do you distinguish between the Gospel and the Culture, and how to continue activity for your family without feeling like you’re “indoctrinating” your children.
This course is specifically for the LDS or The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint members. But, could benefit anyone living inside of a religious structure.
This course is helpful for those who are looking to retain their activity in the LDS faith or remain connected to the Church while also implementing boundaries and personal authority. This course will give you the tools to address hard subjects, building your faith, while letting go of fear. My hope is you feel more empowered to support your family with love instead of fear. And have additional awareness of what is the Gospel of Christ and what is unhelpful Cultural expectation.
Some topics this course covers:
- Teaching teens about healthy arousal
- Healthy sexuality
- The difference between gospel and interpretations
- Introducing concepts of personal authority and general authority
- Teaching modesty without including shame
- Modeling boundaries with church leaders
- Boundaries with grandparents
- Missionary age teenagers confronting LGBTQ+ policies
- Gender inequality in the church
- Revelation or Policy?
- Christ focused intentions
- Temple recommend questions
